Who are we and what are we all about...
History
Heavens to Betsy was incorporated in the spring of 2022 and granted charity status in autumn of 2022.
This charity is the culmination of research and collaborations dating back to 2019. Over this time, knowledge has been gained from time spent with community leaders, lawyers, business planners and accountants.
Our goal is to bridge gaps through education for our target audience.
Our goal is to provide educational workshops for communities in need. We work with any underserved, marginalized or disadvantaged communities including but not limited to: Indigenous communities, kids aging out of foster care, veterans, new comers and refugees, victims of abuse. How do we fund our workshops?
Heavens to Betsy is a registered charity that works to apply for grant funding, seek corporate sponsorship , hold fundraisers. and are currently awaiting casino licensing through AGLC. We will provide a tax receipt for cash donations over $25.00, upon request.
What kind of workshops do we provide?
Heavens to Betsy currently hosts home maintenance , nutrition and health , food safety and preparation, life skills, hand and power tool introduction and home safety and security. Is there a set of skills your group requires? We will source or simply create a program for you!
Who instructs these workshops?
Heavens to Betsy vets our instructors and collaborators to ensure successful outcomes for all involved. We connect those who have experience, education and ensure our goals align.

Heavens to Betsy works across the province of Alberta, and are currently working on projects in their own backyard.
